Dr. Jiri Tuvora has a corporate finance degree from Technical University of Liberec and valuation degree from Prague University of Economics and Business. Jiri is a certified appraiser for businesses, securities and real estate.

Jiri started his career as junior FX dealer then he moved to fund management. He was responsible for funds’ FX, equity and high yield bonds strategy. This was followed by his work in the PPF and Generali Group, where he was responsible for establishing life insurance company in Kazakhstan and non-life insurance company in Belarus. At this time, he began to provide independent investment and financial advisory in parallel which was subsequently expanded to include valuation, business turnaround and M&A transaction service.

Jiri successfully managed the acquisition, revitalisation and sale of the savings cooperative NEY credit union (current name), where he was responsible for financial management and communication with the Czech National Bank (regulator).
Jiri has also been involved in many M&A and restructuring projects across industries, particularly in the fields of engineering, energy and investment banking or debt restructuring. In years 2016-2019 Jiri managed the investment fund, which after its acquisition by a new owner was by Jiri revitalised and prepared for the start of investment activities. In 2020, he participated in the revitalisation of a local energy trader with his responsibility for electricity and gas trade.

Dr Tuvora joined CBA as M&A Advisor and Business Consultant in the Czech Republic in March 2021.
