John has over 25 years of M & A, debt and equity raising, funds management and principal investment experience, holding senior leadership roles with a number of global investment banks, including Macquarie (11+ years), RBS and CIMB, together with a number of years at KPMG.

He has led businesses in Australia, New Zealand and South Korea and also worked across Asia, USA and the UK.
John has advised on M&A transactions totalling over $10bn, raised $4+bn in equity and $2.5bn in debt, debt capital markets and bonds. He has also been responsible for undertaking a number of principal investments. This range allows him to excel in complex transactions requiring multiple investment banking skill-sets.

John founded Conquest Capital to bring a range of corporate advisory and capital raising services to the mid-market and to assist such businesses deliver on their growth strategies.
