I earned my undergraduate law degree – B.A., LL.B. (J.D. equivalent) – from the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (WBNUJS), Kolkata, in 2015, with a focus on Commercial and Business Laws, including Contract Law and Intellectual Property Law.
Over the years, I have advised domestic and international clients across sectors such as technology, manufacturing, FMCG, and ed-tech. I have worked on more than 200 contracts, including SaaS agreements, licensing, distribution, and cross-border technology deals. As General Counsel at a government-owned manufacturing company, I oversee contract lifecycle management, compliance audits, governance structuring, and litigation support. I also coordinate with external counsels and manage documentation for over 25 ongoing legal matters.
To complement my professional experience, I completed diploma courses certified by the National Skill Development Corporation in Advanced Contract Drafting, Negotiation and Dispute Resolution; International Contract Negotiation, Drafting and Enforcement; and International Business Laws. These certifications strengthened my expertise in areas such as software licensing, term sheets, international data privacy compliance, shareholders’ agreements, and the comparative legal systems of the GCC, UK, EU, Singapore, and the U.S.
I am fully remote work-ready, experienced in collaborating with global legal teams and managing cross-border transactions across time zones. My practice is driven by clarity, responsiveness, and an understanding of both legal and commercial priorities.
