Bridget Kamanga-Mafusire is a lawyer with over 10 years’ experience that spans across the public, private and non-profit sectors advising on trade and investment issues.
Her considerable exposure in the public and private sectors, saw her serve as legal adviser in the public sector (Ministry of Industry and Commerce) for four years, before taking up a role as an associate for a boutique M&A law firm for four years.
Bridget then moved to consultancy work and is the local (Zimbabwean) consultant for an international Civil Society Organisation that provides pro bono legal advice to government and Civil Society Organisations while she also consults for private clients in the mining, real estate and quality assurance sectors.
Education:
Bridget holds an LLB (Honours) degree from the University of Fort Hare in South Africa, a Postgraduate Diploma in International Trade Policy and Law from Lund University and is completing her LLM in International Economic Law. Other training in Accounting Proficiency, Trade Negotiations.
