Gianluca M. Dalla Verità is a CPA - Chartered Public Accountant. In 1983, at the age of 23, he began his route in a boutique law firm, working in Corporate Law, International Commercial Arbitration and M&A. During this time, he got a deep experience in settlement commercial disputes, maturing a qualified knowledge of the legal pathological issues of International Business. Gianluca worked both in Civil Law and in Common Law, tracing trends in the coming years.
In 1988, he founded his own Firm, Dalla Verità & Partners, with the main branches in Bologna and London, in which traditional legal, tax and auditing advice is combined with an economic and financial perspective. Gianluca is a consultant experienced in the implementation of large-scale projects for blue chip clients in Italy and abroad.

Gianluca is a TEP, member of the London branch of STEP, the Society for Trust and Estate Practitioners, the organisation that groups the professionals experienced in setting trusts and patrimony planning scheme, in order to preserve families and the integrity of their wealth and properties.
Moreover, he is a certified auditor, enrolled at the Public Authorities, since 1987.
With more than 150 publications (books, articles, studies) on taxation and corporate, trusts and business law, he often collaborates with major international publishers, such as WOLTERS KLUWER, or with magazines. He regularly lectures on these subjects for private entities and associations.
Hobbies and private life:
Gianluca Maria Dalla Verità has been studying worldwide trends and habits for decades. The core of his analyses is to weigh up the individual motivations and behaviours that underlie macroeconomic phenomena. He is equally at ease exchanging ideas with ordinary people, scholars or leading entrepreneurs. His desire to understand the “stories behind the story” underpins astute strategic analyses of possible events - insights that he enjoys sharing with both clients and friends in open conversations.
He loves figurative and contemporary art, and he is trying to be a collector of 1900 artist works (even it is a long way…). He owns more than 10,000 books regarding his private passions as philosophy, archaeology and ancient history that in Gianluca’s opinion are anyway the roots of human vital experience – the fil rouge of everything.
He played tennis like a semi-professional player on ‘70s. He drove motorbikes in the circuits in national championship before being 18. After this, he was a test driver of a Formula 3000 RALT-BMW car, and “something other” with PORSCHE in the first decade of 2000. Two years ago, he understood that he was not young enough, and decided to abandon the pleasure of snorting the smell of burnt oil in the paddock.
Now he continues loving sports cars, powered with at least a 600hp engine. He never infringes the Law and has good relationship with the Police of all over the world.
The birth of his young boy is making him follow the right path – and, at bottom, bringing up his children is the spice of life.
Dr. Dalla Verità joined CBA as M&A Adviser and Tax Expert in Bologna in December 2017.
