Dr. Joseph Calleja is an Advocate by profession practising in Malta, Europe. He works as in-house Counsel to Famalco Group, a well-established diversified group of companies and is Partner at Factum Advisory, a firm offering professional services to high net-worth individuals.

Joseph pursed his studies at the University of Malta, where he graduated as Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.). He subsequently obtained the Diploma of Notary Public (Dip. Not. Pub.), and after successfully defending his dissertation, which critically reviewed the Maltese remedies in Public Procurement, he graduated as Doctor of Laws (LL.D.) from the same university.

Being particularly interested in the immigration field and with an innate entrepreneurial character, Joseph sought to obtained accreditation from the Maltese regulatory authority (Identity Malta) to represent and assist applicants under the Maltese Individual Investor Programme (IIP) and the Malta Golden Visa Programme (MRVP). Joseph holds IIP Licence 133 and is an Authorised Registered Mandatory (ARM) with the International Tax Unit of the Maltese Inland Revenue Department.

Apart from the immigration practice, Joseph has also a special interest in the Mergers and Acquisitions sector.

Joseph has been volunteering with Attard Scout Group for several years and is legal counsel to the Scout Association of Malta.
