Mónica E. Stender was educated at the EBAPE/FGV, Rio de Janeiro with the title of Public Administration. Dr. Stender has an MBA from IESE-Navarra University, Barcelona, and a PhD in Business Administration from the Engineering School/UPC, Barcelona-Spain. and had worked with BNDES, Rio de Janeiro for 19 years as Project Analyst, before moving to Spain and started her Consultancy to be an Associate and Director of Quark Management Systems, S.L. After 14 years at Quark started her own consultant firm – STENDER ASESORES, SLU specialised in M&A, Internationalisation, Operation Management and Training. For 9 years she was Professor at different universities of Catalonia, teaching Production Management, Cost, Human Resources and Organisation. She maintains an own international network with partners of different countries around de world.
