Harshit Patel was educated at the Jitendra Chauhan College of Law, University of Mumbai, India (2015) - LL.B (Gen), and in MSc Finance, University of Leicester, United Kingdom (213), and made his Bachelor of Commerce at the Mithibai College, Mumbai University (2011).
He also cleared National Stock Exchange of India’s Certification course (NCFM): Equity Derivatives, Commercial Banking in India, and Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management.
Harshit joined Challenge Advisors LLP, Mumbai in October 2022 as Vice President, Deals, Investment Banking and Handholding Start-ups and SME Companies for raising funds.
He became Partner at Visun Services LLP, Mumbai in March 2020 to present, managing and structuring business for trading of goods and services, trade financing and invoice discounting for clients, as well as structuring deals with working capital for industries for long term contracts.
In May 2017 Harshit became Partner at Visun Solutions LLP, Mumbai, and was in charge of consulting and execution as EPC for solar project, fund raising through power purchase agreements for solar projects, structure financing and fund raising for renewable energy and sustainable development projects, and consulting and debt fund raising for businesses in refurbished electronics, EV charging, paper products manufacturer, textile manufacturer, hospital and hotel projects.
From February 2016 to March 2017 he was a Forex dealer trainee at F.R.Ratnagar & Co. Mumbai, and managed trade checklist and assisted back office with transaction records and vouchers, performed analysis of market on socio-economic & financial data and on past & current market trends, provided levels and quoted offers for trade to bankers by being abreast with market movements, and prepared daily Foreign Exchange Rate Sheet.
As of February 2014 to January 2016 he was the Finance Executive at Patel Realty Estate Finance Consultancy, Mumbai and pitched for projects to raise Private Equity, project finance and foreign direct investment, experienced front end customer dealings while negotiating interest rates, repayment schedules and tenures, and examined and scrutinized technical documents, legal contracts and agreements pertaining to project finance deals. He also collaborated with legal counsel and accounting teams to develop strategies for business development and project lobbying, monitored and audited interest and tax payments for acquired and invested finance from time to time, and developed client base through networking and acquired private finance for a Real Estate Project.
