Héctor Arenas, was born in Bogotá, Colombia, studied Business Administration at Colegio de Estudios Superiores de Administracion - C.E.S.A - (1993) and has a Master Degree (MA) in Finance and Investment at Exeter University, England (1.995).

His career development started at the Treasury Department, working in administrative and financial areas. When he came back from England, got relevant Investment Banking experience at Banco Ganadero BBVA, in areas such a project finance and mergers and acquisitions.

Next years, Héctor worked in managerial positions, as a financial and executive manager, in WorldStar Paez S.A. (1999), Grupo HEVLA S.A (2000-2010), OK Press S.A.-Pressto Colombia- (2001-2009) and HARES S.A.S (since 2010 up today). In addition, he has been appointed as a member of different board of directors and University Professor in prestigious institutions, such as: Colegio de Estudios Superiores de Administración - C.E.S.A.- and Universidad Sergio Arboleda, both in Bogotá. Between 2010 and 2013 was Master Franchisee of NBB Business Brokers.

In June of 2015 joined CBA as M&A Adviser in Bogotá, Colombia.
