Jan van Leer, educated at the University of Utrecht with a master degree in private law, has worked for more than 35 years for Generali in the Netherlands, of which the last 12 years as statutory director of the non-life company.
In 2018 Generali Group decided to sell the Dutch operation, which was for Jan van Leer the moment – after having contributed a period of time to the integration of the companies - to leave.
After a sabbatical, he now has started his own consultancy activities.
