Melik Jemail is a senior bank executive who worked since 1998 with the Tunisian branch of the leading financial institution of the Arab World: Arab Bank Group, of which many years of a solid experience as a successful manager of different branches. He is a SME and industry oriented banker with a deep knowledge of the Tunisian culture and business environment, an exceptional understanding of investment strategies and an extensive experience in advising clients and businesses. Melik assists and provides management support to newly created companies during their implementation and startup phase. He serves as market counselor and assistant to foreign companies to better access to and invest in Tunisia by developing presentations, market intelligence, analyses and recommendations reports for prospective investors. He is involved in the implementation of several foreign companies in Tunisia by linking companies operating in the same field for a synergistic effect. As head of customer support, he built excellent trust-based customer loyalty with corporations, agro-food, industrial (plastic, textile, aeronautic…), construction (highways) and real-estate (touristic zones), pharmaceutical companies… and effectively prospected new markets with client companies during their travels to Algeria and Libya. As PR officer, Melik built and maintained excellent relationships with local VIPs (Mayors, governors, CEO’s, investors, etc). Melik holds a Post Graduate Degree in Finance and Banking (Institut du Financement et du Développement du Maghreb Arabe) and a Master’s Degree in Marketing (Institut Supérieur de Gestion de Tunis). He speeks Arabic, French and English.
Melik is a former volley ball player and currently President of Avenir Sportif de la Marsa Volleyball, he is also a marathon man, run the 2013 New York Marathon in 3h17’.
