Martins Zutis is qualified UK ACCA accountant and financial advisor with more than 20 years of professional experience. He has worked for PwC and Deloitte for many years on a variety of audit, consulting and financial advisory assignments. Since 2006 he has been mainly focusing on mergers and acquisitions and has been involved in a range of transactions in the Baltic States and Russia in a variety of sectors. In 2009 he joined DNB to lead its financial restructuring department. In this position he helped to build and train a team to assess the severity of borrower positions while looking for upside potential for both the bank and the customer. He established his own advisory practice in 2012 with a focus on providing advisory services in company restructuring situations. In 2015 he merged his practice with Merhels, a leading Latvian professional services boutique.
