Nikolay Khalko is a seasoned corporate finance and restructuring professional with a track record in venture capital, private equity, commercial and investment banking as well as in corporate development and restructuring.
Geographical exposure includes broad international background with a focus on emerging markets, specifically in Russia. Among transaction origination and execution, experiences were IPOs, numerous bank, public debt and convertible securities financings, structuring and negotiating various M&A deals including distressed and cross-jurisdiction ones, MBO/LBOs and a number of complex corporate restructurings including some insolvency cases. Majority of transactions were Russia-related, many with a significant cross-border component.
Mr Khalko has also served in numerous Board positions in various companies he worked with. He is interested in managing/advising corporate situations where significant value can be unlocked using corporate finance, M&A and restructuring tools.
