Piotr Biernatowski is an attorney-at-law with over 10-year experience in the field of M&A’s, corporate law and corporate disputes. He has unique experience in corporate disputes between companies as well as between shareholders. During his career he participated in numerous mergers and acquisitions (i.a. in Venture Capital and Private Equity related transactions), starting from the concept phase, through the negotiations and closing to post-transactional transitions.
Piotr also advises in relation to capital markets regulation, and the issuance and transfer of financial instruments. He creates and executes strategies in complex business and corporate disputes.
Piotr took part in concept development and implementation of corporate governance in a complex capital groups.
He started his career with a boutique Polish law firm specialized in corporate dispute resolution and strategic advisory. He then opened an independent legal practice which joined GP Partners in 2019.
Piotr graduated from the Law Faculty of the Koźmiński University in Warsaw. He studied also at the Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona in Spain, and completed postgraduate studies in Investment Banking at the Warsaw School of Economics.

Book was named best selling legal book in 2022 by Wolters Kluwer (leading Polish publisher), although sale started in June 2022. Thanks to the huge success of the book, the English edition is already in sale i.a. on Amazon.
