Educated as Patent, Trademark and Design Attorney Raluca Vasilescu started her career in IP in 1995, when she opened together with Mrs. Margareta Oproiu a new patent and trademark attorney firm, Cabinet M. Oproiu. At Cabinet M. Oproiu she is one of the partners of the firm. Raluca handles patent and trademark matters including all range from prosecution until enforcement. She is a Registered Romanian Trade Mark Attorney (1996), Community Trade Mark and Design Attorney (2007), as well as Romanian Patent Attorney (1999) and European Patent Attorney (2003). Associations: President of Romanian National Institute of Patent Attorneys (CNCPIR) since April 2013 and Vice-President of the Romanian Group of AIPPI, since November 2012. Member of the ECTA’s Anti-Counterfeiting Committee (2007) and member of ECTA Council (2008). FICPI member (2000), INTA member (1997), EPI member (2003), newly elected in EPI Council following the elections of February 2014. Current writing projects include contribution to the books of commentaries on the Community Trade Mark Regulation and the Community Design Regulation in English Language to be published by C.H.Beck Hart Nomos early 2015. Mrs. Vasilescu joined CBA in October 2014.
