Sven Soomuste was born in Tartu, the university town in Estonia. When he turned 15, he moved to Tallinn for studies and sports.

Sven started his professional career in 1995 in Hansapank (today’s Swedbank), which remained his only employer. He worked there in various positions for 10 years, the last seven of which were related to financing activities in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Among other achievements, he established a department of real estate financing and ran it for five years.

Since 2004 Sven has been working as an entrepreneur in different fields and with different partners. Today, his work is mainly related to finance and real estate; however, he is also involved with a number of projects in other areas, such as e-commerce, childcare and recreation, spa and hotel industry, etc.

Geographically, he has businesses and offices in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. However, when it comes to commerce and other projects, he is also active in the markets of Finland, Russia, Ukraine and Belarus.
