The Mansion House Hotel is a former baronial mansion house, believed to be in excess of 130 years of age which has been extended to provide the current facilities; 22 ensuite bedrooms with a potential to extend further 15 bedrooms, also enjoys a full bar, restaurant, function suite and leisure facilities (gym & swimming pool).

There is also a gate lodge, providing a further 3 letting bedrooms although this could readily be utilised as spacious owners accommodation. The hotel, which is built over two floors in the main, has ornate features such as crow-stepped gables, and a central turret which extends a further two floors.

To the rear lies a substantial modern extension in addition to various smaller extensions principally comprising the leisure facilities and part of the function suite.

Internally the property also retains many original features such as plaster cornices, timber dados and dado rails. The hotel entrance leads directly into the main hallway to the rear of which is a reception area.

The residents lounge lies to the front left and is comfortably furnished with sofas and armchairs. The restaurant, to the front right can accommodate circa 40 covers and there is also the bistro providing additional dining (20 covers). The hotel has a large modern catering kitchen which is comprehensively fitted.
